About The Artist
Canadian alternative rocker Mel Keith brings a powerhouse vocal style to the stage, backed by big stadium drums and infectious grooves that compel you to move. Her music opens up vast sonic landscapes, with a wall of eclectic vintage electric guitars creating a lush backdrop for her purposeful lyrics.
"I want to unite, inspire, and bring joy to people's lives through my music and performances," says Keith.
Drawing on influences from David Bowie, The Smiths to Sheryl Crow and John Lennon, as well as contemporary artists like Brandi Carlile and St. Vincent, Mel's sound blends a pop sensibility with rock guitars, bass, and drums, layered with synths and harmonies.
Mel is currently recording her upcoming album in Los Angeles with producer Anthony J. Resta (Duran Duran, Elton John, Sara Evans, Collective Soul, Perry Farrell, Nuno Bettencourt, Blondie). Mel is set to release her next body of work in 2024 with collaborations from independent label, CCVM: Label w/o Walls and entertainment firm, Collective Entertainment, Inc.
